You can post a comment or trackback from your own site.

to be totally honest I would not keep pushing forward in this business if it wen’t for the TEAM system. I have grown from a man that had little self esteem if any at all to a student of life and leadership. I have the greatest repect for the leadership of the TEAM. It is men and women like Chuck Goetschel that make this business great. People will be loyal to men and women of charicter a thousands times over befor they would ever claim loyalty to a company or a product. I follow Orrin, Chris and all the leadership of the TEAM

  2. Shaun Carter Says:

I wonder what could be delaying the courts decision so much, other than the volume of complaints filed.

  3. Wendy D Says:

I think the judge wanted to put the ruling in writing so there was no confusion and both parties could agree on the wording. Should be interesting.

I just pray that God’s will is done.

  4. Trevor Says:

“we will not comment on these matters until the judge issues a ruling.”

    Translation:
“We’ve finally came to the realization that we’re in the middle of the biggest legal battle our company has faced…perhaps we should stop posting blogs that come across as school-yard talk.”

  5. looking Says:

I am disappointed with the way Quixtar has handled the situation.

It is likely that Quixtar / Amway will be shut down in North America. I will be looking for other opportunities. Amway is getting shut down all over the world for bad business practices, this is no different… good luck to everyone.

  6. GeneK Says:

This business, not necessarily Team nor Quixtar, does some terrific personal things and helps think of the possibilities and reminds you that your life is your responsibility.
    I just want this resolved.

  7. Utah Says:

Both mlive.com and woodtv.com have current news updates from the courtroom. Obvously there are several suits and it looks like we could know the outcome of 3 of them tommorrow. Personally I wish that no one get terminated, including the 15, and that the suit in California gets tossed, Put the corporation and Team back in a room and work this out without the attorneys. Put Rich Devos in the room as well.

    To post #1

No offense but what does that have to do with the topic?

  9. Soundslikeacult Says:

Jack, Your comments are a little creepy, Sounds like a Cult.

Where was that respect a week and a half ago when these “articles” were posted?

    This blog is a joke.

  11. rpr7768 Says:

    where did my post go?

  12. VETRI Says:

Jack, Not only you, but everyone who has grown with a system will say the same thing about their system. As for those in N21 , they feel the same about their leadership and development, and also worldwide dreambuilders is a very enhancing group and enriching , BWW too has uplifted many people and brought them to greater heights.. So If Bill britt, Jim Dornan, Ron Puryear and Yager would they have made or violated the laws or left?/

The thing is they did not.
Nor do they start another MLM to compete with quixtar and are in submission.

Go if you must, like Bill says, weed em out before they even get a chance to get in! Im sure quixtar does not need leaders who go beserk and start firing everything at them..

Looks like everything was planned much before they were terminated..

  13. Tex Says:

    Shaun,

Actually, this is moving quite quickly. Just wait until the cobwebs start growing on the main lawsuit.

  14. KNP Says:

Based on the arguments heard in court the past few days, I’m really concerned for ANY IBO in the Quixtar organization.

Today we learned that ALL IBO’s are PROPERTY of Quixtar! Hmmmm, last I checked this was a FREE country, and this business was suppose to be FREE enterprise. I didn’t realize I was an Amway slave!

Based on the attitude and arrogance of the representatives of this company, the outragiously priced products, and the change back to the Amway name, WHO can expect to have ANY reasonable chance of building a successful business.

As most good IBO’s would tell a prospect, “This is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme”. Unfortunately I think IBO’s should change their tune and let people know this is a ‘get-rick-NEVER’ scheme!

  15. emerald 08 Says:

All I can say is I have made thousands retailing products oh and by the way einsteins even if you sell some products at cost there is still a great profit… DoubleX if your only at 9% is a profit of $6.30 wxhich is more than 10% of the product cost do that with walmart priced products. Then if your like me at 25% is $17.50 and then if you got the guts to shut up and actually go talk to someone about the products at ruby volume that will be 21.70 so even if you sold it for 52. IT IS ALMOST 45% PROFIT. i WOULD LOVE TO TESTIFY

  16. mex Says:

    make a deal quixtar((((WIN WIN)))))))

  17. George's Girl Says:

    To #15 - emerald 08:

How much do Alticor employees pay for Double X? How much do they pay for Artistry?

The company does one of two things:
    1. Sell to employees at cost. (That would make the markup about 800%.)

    2. Sell to employees at a loss. (Given the thousands of employees on staff, there must be a pretty good markup in there to afford this.)

    Nuff said.

  18. MLM nightmare Says:

this is starting to get annoying. Now because of all of this I cant even begin to think about building my business. How am I supposed to inform people of this when I dont even know whats going on?

Someone hurry up and resolve this because its just making me loose motivation.

  19. pinkbabs Says:

Of course this isn’t a get rich quick scheme…it is a get poor slowly scheme.

    MLMs 99% fail. You aren’t a 1%er.

  20. Tex Says:

    Trevor #4 & rpr7768 #10,

Get a grip. The earlier posts were related to Orrin’s “illegal pyramid” lawsuit.

    looking #5,

Please, do go away. We need IBO’s who can think through the facts and make an adult decision.

    emerald 08 #15,

    Well said.

  21. Ignacio Escobedo Says:

Hello, hello, hello! Hurray, Hurrayy, this are or were the type of people, that creates some if not all of the reazons the company gets bad publicity and (to get rid of the rabis you have to kill the dog or dogs in this case) not that I’m calling them dogs those people have my admiration for what they acomplished but not my respect for making it tougher for the rest of us regular IBO’s to sponsor the now well informed public about the deceits lies and ways of handling the business with no regards for the people who had given’em the oportunity to acomplish what they have, they ended up bitting the hand that fed’em for so long, I personally feel like I had a Victory because when people around the globe sees that Amway, Quixtar, Alticor are not taking the rules and ethics of the business and bending them for the top dogs, regardless of the pin level. The rules apply for everybody and if you are not willing to stick by them than you do need to figure another way of making an income, I apolagize for my gramar I’m an Amway distributor from MEXICO and my english is a bit limited, and by the way I was on their sytem and was running against my upline teachings because I had learn the rules of no stocking people or lye so they can go or listen to the compensation plan, from a previous time in Amway from Mexico, Guatemala, and U.S.A. I’m back for good this time and realized it keeps getting better and better.

NACHO! SOON TO BE “NACHO LIBRE”

  22. Quixkicked Says:

Tex- You are obviously an individual with an opinion not an individual with information. Anyone can pipe off at people and their posts, now try saying something with substance!

Emerald 08- Touching mathmatical mastery…Fact Double X is nearly 200% to 300% more than any other retailed vitamin in the major retail market. The key fact being to sell this product in you equation you must dupe someone to pay 200% to 300% more. Brilliant business philosophy….

  23. Tex Says:

    Quixkicked #22,

You are obviously an individual who can’t read for comprehension. Now try saying something with substance.

I am a person with questions that are not getting answered by the corp, the IBOAI or the former TEAM leaders.

Double X is a unique product. Which product are you trying to compare it to in order to state it is overpriced?

  24. Saved Says:

    Tex #23

It’s obvious your not a current businness builder. It’s true double x is a unique product, however, most americans aren’t willing to pay 3* more for uniqueness. I love Aston Martin convertibles, also very unique but a little pricy don’t you think. Or is that a common car in your town???

  25. real texan Says:

Tex, are you really from Texas? Most people from here are not rude like you.

  26. Tex Says:

    Saved #24,

It is obvious you don’t like answering simple questions or are interested in the truth.

If most Americans aren’t willing to pay for double X, sell it to some Americans or find something else to market. I think Quixtar has a couple of other products to choose from. Rich and Jay were successful in the 1950’s selling Double X, when it cost $20 (and $20 could really buy something) and the knowledge of vitamin/mineral supplementation wasn’t nearly as well known as it is today. I think Double X is a bargain. The AMA only concluded Americans should be taking a vitamin 3-4 years ago, so there wasn’t near the support from the medical community, yet Rich and Jay were highly successful. I haven’t seen any Aston Martins in my town, convertible or otherwise. However, there are lots of IBO’s in my town. What’s your point?

    real texan #25,

Maybe you haven’t met enough Texans. Although I’m not from Texas originally, there are many people in Texas that came from elsewhere. Does that make you nervous?

Whether you consider me nice or rude makes little difference to me, I am after the elusive truth regarding tool profits. If I have to appear rude to you to achieve that, so be it. So far, the answers have been all hat, no cattle. Texan ‘nough fer ‘ya?

  27. real texan Says:

    I knew it. :)

  28. Alticor Media Blog Administrator Says:

    Tex: Easy, now.

  29. sallyp Says:

If it weren’t for the great integrity of Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady we would have pulled the pin a long time ago. I had several Amway people in my home after a really long day at work several years ago and believe me I would never consider ever joining Amway. They were extremely rude and aggressive. Basically would not take no for an answer. I can’t say enought good things about the TEAM. You are blessed to be part of it.

  30. Tex Says:

    sallyp #29,

You mean the “great integrity” that kept you in an illegal pyramid for years? Wow, you’re my heeeero, Orrin….NOT.

Yes, as soon as the name changes, we all get injections (If you don’t, they terminate you. Real termination, so you can’t talk. :-)) that make us act like those people at work several years ago. What are you smoking, by the way?

Moderator, is that you, pulling my leg? This is too easy….

  31. tom Says:

If Orrin was building depth and he made it to diamond and on the iboa board. Why did you not stop him then. that is a few years here. I think somebody is trying to pass the buck.

  32. jthompson Says:

Orrin did not go diamond using the Team approach. TEAM was started afterwards.

I don’t know the all the facts…. but if may be possible that Quixtar is paying the PR price for not correcting Orrin a while ago.

“Kill the monster while its little” is the saying.

  33. Tex Says:

    jthompson #32,

I think you are mistaken. Orrin “Rosie Ruiz” Woodward did go Diamond by following the TEAM approach.

Quixtar apparently gave him several years and multiple opportunities to “fly right”, and he didn’t. I think it is good he got bigger prior to being terminated, it is much more visible to others this way.
