We’ve tried, but sometimes it takes a professional to explain these things.

Brian Dickerson of the Detroit Free Press got the heart of the China issue exactly right today in his column.

As always, we’ll stay away from the candidate talk. Who to vote for is somebody else’s fight; we’re just here to stand up for our business. (That’s why we’ve used ellipses to remove candidate and party references.)

But for putting the whole China jobs thing in context? See the quotes from Dickerson’s column below. We couldn’t say it any better ourselves.
